This material is chosen for its anti-magnetic properties and resistance to discolouration, ensuring longevity and consistent appearance. The downpipe features mandrel-bent piping with a 3.15-inch (80mm) diameter, which ensures full-flow bends for optimized gas flow and enhanced performance. This is a race system and is explicitly stated as not ECA approved. For proper fitment and function, this large-bore downpipe, transitioning from 104mm to 80mm, must be installed in conjunction with a Milltek Sport 80mm Cat Back system. Installation is estimated to take 3 to 4 hours. The SSXVW712 is specifically designed to fit the following Volkswagen Golf R models: the MK7 R 2.0 TSI 300PS from 2014-2016 (with 80mm Race System Options) and the Mk7.5 R 2.0 TSI 310PS from 2017-2021 (Non-GPF Equipped Models Only, with 80mm Race Systems).
