StopTech ST40 332 Big Brake Kit for E36, E46, Z3, Z4 features Drilled or Slotted 2pc Aerorotors, 4-piston ST40 forged calipers, Forged caliper brackets, Sport pads, and DOT-compliant stainless brake lines. This kit drastically improves braking performance on and off the race track. StopTech developed the Balanced Brake Upgrade(R) which matches brake components with vehicle weight, master cylinder size, and weight transfer under braking. This ensures ideal brake bias and tire contact patch under extreme braking. StopTech brakes feature excellent thermal management thanks to larger rotors with enhanced cooling vanes, allowing harder braking with more consistency and confidence. Aerorotors are 332mm two-piece, available in slotted or cross-drilled patterns, with or without an anti-corrosion zinc coating. They feature StopTech's patented directional vaning pattern that expels hot air to keep the rotor cool. ST40 calipers are 4-piston, forged aluminum with center bridge reinforcement for added strength, vehicle-specific piston sizes matched to the master cylinder for optimum brake balance, and high-temp silicone brake boots. The included StopTech Sport pads (formerly Street Performance brand) are engineered for higher temperature ranges than OEM pads, offering excellent stopping power (torque) at optimum temps, high fade resistance, strong initial bite, smooth actuation, modulation, and release at optimum temps, low-moderate dust, and good pad wear rates. These are intended for fast road use, autocross, or light track days, but can be used for daily driving with increased noise and wear. Requires 17\" wheels.
