The Unplugged Performance Stainless Steel Sport Brake Line Set is engineered to elevate the braking experience for the 2021+ Tesla Model X Plaid and Model X. Standard rubber brake lines, while cost-effective, can expand and contract under intense braking, resulting in a less responsive, spongy pedal. This upgrade directly addresses that by replacing the OEM lines with high-performance stainless steel hoses. This set includes four stainless steel brake hoses tested beyond 3000 psi, along with laser-cut brackets, crush washers, and banjo bolts for a complete installation. Drivers will immediately notice a firmer brake pedal with improved precision and responsiveness, fostering greater confidence during spirited driving. For optimal performance, Unplugged Performance recommends pairing these lines with high-temperature racing brake fluids such as Motul RBF 660, PFC RH 665, Endless RF 650, or Castrol SRF. While compatible with OEM Dot 4 fluid, performance driving may still yield a softer pedal with standard fluid. Note that customers purchasing the Carbon Ceramic Big Brake Kit (BFB Kit) for the 2021+ Tesla Model X Plaid and Model X do not need to purchase this separate brake line kit, as it is included with the BBK.
