Sport Cat X-Pipe

The Fabspeed Sport Cat X-Pipe is a high-performance exhaust upgrade specifically designed for all Porsche 993 Carrera vehicles manufactured between 1994 and 1998. This system replaces the restrictive OEM catalytic converters with high-flow, German-manufactured 200-cell HJS Emissions technology OBD2 Sport Catalytic Converters. These HJS cats are known for their excellent flow, approaching that of a straight pipe (93-95%), while still providing sufficient emissions scrubbing to help prevent a check engine light. The investment-cast X-Pipe design works in conjunction with the free-flowing cats to enhance the overall volume and smooth out the exhaust note of the flat-6 engine. Constructed from CNC mandrel-bent T304L stainless steel, this X-Pipe is built for maximum quality, performance, and durability. The installation is a straightforward bolt-on process, requiring no cutting or welding. This system also offers a weight savings of 8 lbs from the rear of the vehicle. It includes all necessary hardware and gaskets for a complete installation. As a note for installation, the original factory ball-joint clamps must be re-used. Additionally, customers must select the correct flange type (Bischoff for 1994-mid-1996, Gillet for mid-1996-1998) based on their vehicle's manufacturing date. It is important to note that this product removes the OEM catalytic converters and is strictly intended for closed track events and off-road use only, as it is not California Air Resources Board (CARB) or EPA certified.
