Sport Coilover 32-Way Adjustable Damping

The SF Racing Sport Coilovers are engineered for the 2011-2019 Ford Explorer (U502), providing a performance-oriented upgrade for street-driven vehicles. They feature a monotube damper design for improved heat dissipation and reduced oil leakage, contributing to longevity. The suspension offers 32 levels of adjustable damping, allowing precise tuning of rebound and compression for optimal ride quality and handling. Constructed with T6-6061 aluminum, these coilovers boast lightweight, corrosion-resistant anodized top mounts, perches, and collars. The shock bodies are electroplated and zinc-coated for enhanced rust protection. Japanese NOK seals and Italian IP damping oil are utilized to prevent leaks and ensure consistent damping performance. The front suspension is a true coilover design, while the rear features a divorced setup with separate shock and spring components. Each corner has independent lower mount adjustment for height customization, and they are designed to lower the vehicle by 1-2.5 inches without compromising suspension travel. These coilovers are a 100% bolt-on replacement, requiring no modifications for installation. They come equipped with integrated dust boots and bump stops to protect internal components. The front utilizes aluminum top mounts with rubber bushings to help minimize noise typically associated with performance aftermarket coilovers. SAE9254 Japanese cold-wound springs ensure durable and consistent performance. Furthermore, aftermarket coilovers are not compatible with OEM electronic damping control systems (like EDC or DDS).
