The SF Racing Sport Coilovers are engineered as a premium upgrade for the 1996-1998 Acura TL models (UA1/UA2/UA3). Drivers can achieve a significant drop of 1 to 2.5 inches below the factory ride height without compromising suspension travel, thanks to the independent lower mount adjustment. Each damper offers 32 distinct levels of adjustment for rebound and compression, allowing for fine-tuning of the ride quality. Construction features a monotube damper design for improved heat dissipation and reduced oil leakage, contributing to longevity. The shock bodies are electroplated for rust protection, and the components utilize T6-6061 aluminum for lightweight, corrosion-resistant top mounts, perches, and collars. The springs are made from SAE9254 Japanese cold-wound steel, ensuring durable and consistent performance. Integrated dust boots and bump stops further protect the components from debris and wear. Installation is designed as a 100% bolt-on replacement, requiring no modifications for most applications. However, it's important to note that these coilovers DO NOT interface with OEM electronic damping control systems.
