The SF Racing Sport Coilovers are engineered for street-driven cars, providing a balance of performance and comfort for the 2013-2015 Chevrolet Malibu. These coilovers feature a monotube damper design for improved heat dissipation and a low-friction, pressure-resistant housing for longevity. The spring rates are precisely matched to the shock valving, ensuring optimal performance without additional cost. Key features include adjustable ride height, allowing for a drop of 1-2.5 inches below factory height without sacrificing suspension travel. The damping is adjustable across 32 levels, combining rebound and compression into a single knob for fine-tuning. The construction utilizes lightweight, corrosion-resistant T6-6061 aluminum for top mounts, perches, and collars, along with an electroplated shock body for rust protection. SAE9254 Japanese cold-wound springs and Japanese NOK seals with Italian IP damping oil are used for durability and consistent performance. These coilovers are a 100% bolt-on replacement and are designed for FWD vehicles. It is important to note that SF Racing coilovers do not interface with OEM electronic damping control systems.
