The Wiseco K640M pistons are engineered for performance builds in Mazdaspeed3 and Mazdaspeed6 vehicles. Constructed from 2618 Aerospace Alloy, they offer a superior strength-to-weight ratio. The ArmorGlide® skirt coating not only increases power output but also effectively reduces piston rock. Furthermore, a strutted forging design enhances overall piston strength. This results in a longer engine lifespan and enhanced horsepower potential. The design also ensures maximum ring seal, which minimizes blow-by and reduces oil consumption. Key specifications include a stroke of 3.701" (94mm), rod length of 5.927" (150.55mm), and a compression height of 1.270" (32.25mm). The head combustion chamber volume is 42.0cc with a -13.3cc dish volume, and a deck clearance of 0.040" (1.0mm). The kit includes piston pins and rings. It is important to note that most Wiseco pistons have offset pins, which must be installed mirroring the OEM orientation for the quietest operation. These pistons are specifically designed for the 2007-2013 Mazda Mazdaspeed3 and the 2006-2007 Mazda Mazdaspeed6.
