The Racing Beat 56435 is a sport connecting pipe designed for Miata owners seeking a more aggressive sound and lighter exhaust system. This component can be paired with either single or dual outlet Power Pulse Mufflers. It is constructed from 2.375" OD tubing and made of 304 stainless steel.

The Racing Beat 56435 is a sport connecting pipe for the Mazda Miata, engineered for owners who desire a more aggressive exhaust note and a lighter overall system. It includes a replacement gasket for the catalytic converter to header connection, as well as mounting hardware for the connecting pipe to muffler joint. Importantly, this Racing Beat Miata Connecting Pipe section does not eliminate the stock catalytic converter and bolts directly to its output for the 1990-97 Miata models. The 'Sport Pipe' version, which does not include a presilencer, was tested against the 'Power Pulse Pipe' (with presilencer). Decibel readings showed a modest increase in sound levels, with the Sport Pipe registering 75db at idle, 89db at 3000 RPM, and 92db at 5000 RPM. Subjective evaluation by the Racing Beat staff noted that despite the increased volume, the sound retained a deep, throaty tone without being harsh or buzzy, and was considered "streetable" for both street and track use.
