Sport Lowering Springs

The Racingline Sport Lowering Springs are engineered to enhance the performance and aesthetics of the VW Golf 8 R (Hatch) models from 2021 onwards. These springs are designed as a direct replacement for the factory components, featuring a re-engineered, different-rate, and slightly shorter profile to optimize handling and appearance. By lowering the vehicle's center of gravity, these sport springs effectively reduce body roll during cornering and braking, leading to improved dynamics. Racingline has developed these springs with a progressive-rate construction. This means the spring rate remains similar to the standard configuration for the majority of its travel, ensuring good ride quality and comfort for daily driving. The rate stiffens only towards the end of the spring's travel, which is beneficial during hard acceleration, braking, or cornering. Visually, the springs address the common issue of unsightly wheel arch gaps, providing a more aggressive and factory-intended stance. The compatibility is specifically for VW Golf 8 R 2021+ Hatchback models only. These springs are fully compatible with vehicles equipped with Volkswagen's switchable DCC (Dynamic Chassis Control) adaptive dampers, as well as standard dampers.
