The SR Performance Sport Lowering Springs offer a performance-oriented suspension solution for S550 and S650 Mustang enthusiasts looking to lower their vehicle's center of gravity. By reducing excessive nose-dive under hard braking, body roll in corners, and squat during acceleration, these springs provide a more aggressive stance and improved handling dynamics for daily driving and street use. Technically, the kit utilizes progressive spring rates in the front (168 lb/in) and standard linear spring rates in the rear (711.2 lb/in) to balance traction and comfort. The springs are finished with a durable blue powder coat. This set is specifically engineered for 2015-2026 Mustang V6, EcoBoost, and GT models equipped with an independent rear suspension. Regarding installation, a professional shop is recommended because a spring compressor is required. Proper installation takes approximately three hours, and a professional alignment is highly recommended afterward to ensure optimal geometry and handling. Fitment caveats are critical: these springs are not compatible with vehicles equipped with the MagneRide Suspension System, and they do not fit Shelby GT350 models.
