Sport Monotube Coilover Kit

The SF Racing Sport Coilovers are a performance suspension upgrade specifically engineered for the 1997-2004 Chevrolet Corvette C5. The Sport Series coilovers feature a monotube damper design, which improves heat dissipation and reduces the likelihood of oil leakage. They offer 32 levels of one-way adjustable damping, allowing drivers to fine-tune both rebound and compression characteristics through a single adjustment knob. The ride height is adjustable, providing a drop of 1-2.5 inches below factory height without compromising suspension travel. Independent lower mount adjustment helps maintain shock and spring integrity during height adjustments. Construction utilizes T6-6061 aluminum for lightweight, corrosion-resistant anodized top mounts, perches, and collars. The shock body is electroplated for rust protection. Components are protected by integrated dust boots and bump stops. SAE9254 Japanese cold-wound springs are used for durable and consistent performance, while Japanese NOK seals and Italian IP damping oil ensure longevity and high-performance damping. These coilovers are designed as a 100% bolt-on replacement, requiring no modifications unless otherwise stated. Front top mounts are available with standard aluminum and rubber bushings or optional aluminum and pillowball bushings. Rear top mounts use aluminum with rubber bushings. It is important to note that SF Racing coilovers DO NOT interface with OEM electronic damping control systems, and additional parts may be needed to remove error codes if the original suspension had electronic damping.
