The damping is adjustable depending on the application, offering a degree of customization for driving enthusiasts. The components are harmonized for optimal performance, and the entire system is engineered and manufactured in Germany, carrying ABE or TÜV approval for peace of mind. Installation requires reusing the original shock's lower spring seat and spring pad; these parts are essential for mounting the kit. If the original parts are not in good condition, they should be replaced. For vehicles equipped with electronic damping adjustment systems like DCC or Magnetic Ride, installation must be performed by an authorized workshop. The electronic damping adjustment signal needs to be deactivated using interference-free complex resistance plugs connected to the valve connectors. This kit is intended for vehicles without electronic suspension control. The H&R Cup-Kit 40061-3 is compatible with various Audi A4 B8, S4 B8, A5, S5, and RS5 models, including specific engine variants like the 1.8 TFSI, 2.0 TDI, 2.0 TFSI, 2.7 TDI, 3.0 TDI, and 3.2 FSI, with a front and rear axle load limit of 1100 Kg.
