The H&R Sport Springs (part number 29484-1) are designed to lower your BMW 3 Series E46, providing a sportier appearance and enhanced driving dynamics. With a specified lowering of 35mm on the front axle and 10mm on the rear, these springs aim to reduce body roll and improve handling characteristics by lowering the vehicle's center of gravity. The set includes four springs (front and rear) and comes with TÜV approval. It is important to note that actual lowering amounts can vary based on the vehicle's original specifications and any existing aftermarket or OE sport suspension. For vehicles equipped with BMW M-Technic suspension or similar factory-lowered systems, the reduction in ride height may be less than quoted. The manufacturer recommends sports dampers if lowering by more than 35-40mm. Additionally, for E46 models where excessive lowering occurs on the rear axle, it's advised to use the upper spring mounts from the rough road suspension (BMW original parts).
