The twin-tube design includes a heavy gauge (1.6mm) steel reserve tube for protection against stone damage and a super strong 18mm induction hardened chrome piston rod built to withstand heavy loads and tough off-road conditions.

The Old Man Emu by ARB 90038 Sport Strut is engineered for superior performance across all terrains, offering significant improvements in ride, comfort, and handling. This Nitrocharger Sport shock absorber employs vehicle-specific valving, meticulously matched by Ride Control Engineers to your chosen spring selection, accessory fitment, and load-carrying requirements. The result is a finely tuned suspension system that adapts to your specific needs, whether for work or play. Constructed with a heavy-gauge (1.6mm) steel reserve tube, this strut provides enhanced protection against off-road debris and stone damage, being 23% more effective than common 1.3mm tubing. It features a super-strong 18mm induction hardened chrome piston rod designed to handle the rigors of heavy loads and tough 4x4 touring. Inside, multi-disc compression valving with six discs allows for greater tuning options, while dual-stack deflective disc technology on the free-flowing piston ensures infinite rebound and compression adjustments. This front strut is designed and manufactured in Australia and is suitable for the Ford Ranger PX3 (2018-ON). It is compatible with Old Man Emu's extensive range of springs, bushes, and hardware for a complete integrated 4WD suspension system.
