The H&R Sport HR-51652 Super Sport lowering springs are engineered to significantly improve the handling characteristics and aggressive stance of your Ford Mustang. Utilizing a progressive spring rate design, these springs offer a tighter, more responsive ride feel compared to stock, while still aiming to retain a comfortable level of ride quality. The specific lowering amounts are approximately 1.75 inches for the front and 1.60 inches for the rear. The front spring rates are specified between 700-760 lb/in, and the rear rates are between 275-300 lb/in, providing a firmer yet balanced suspension response. Fitment is specifically for 1996-2004 Ford Mustang GT, Cobra, and Mach 1 models with a Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) configuration and a solid rear axle. It is important to note that these springs will not fit the 1999-2004 Mustang Cobra equipped with an independent rear suspension (IRS).
