The Vogtland suspension kit is a comprehensive performance solution engineered to enhance the road holding and aesthetic profile of the Mazda 6 (GG/GY, GG1). By replacing factory components with progressive-rate sports springs and performance-tuned dampers, this kit provides a more stable and responsive driving experience. The optimized spring and damper combination reduces vertical pitching during deceleration and improves chassis stability through tight corners. The system is specifically tuned for the Mazda 6, providing a 40mm drop at the front axle and 25mm at the rear. Each set includes performance shock absorbers—utilizing high or low-pressure gas—which are calibrated to provide increased damping stiffness compared to the original factory equipment. This kit is not compatible with 4-wheel drive models. Installation notes indicate that the amount of lowering may vary depending on the presence of an original factory sport suspension. While the included hardware is a complete solution, ensure that all wheel and tire combinations used conform to local regulations and wheel approval standards.
