The GrimmSpeed Exhaust Valve Simulator (EVS) provides an electronic solution for enthusiasts who want to retain the aggressive exhaust sound associated with sport modes, even after removing the factory exhaust valve actuator. This plug-and-play device connects directly to the wiring harness, preventing the ECU from generating fault codes (CEL) that would otherwise disable drive mode selection. Its design ensures a clean installation without bulky mechanical components, and it is built with a durable, discoloration-resistant finish and a weatherproof sealed connector. This process typically takes under 15 minutes. Key fitments include the 2016+ Ford Focus RS, 2015+ Mustang GT350/GT350R, 2015+ Audi S3, 2013-2016 Audi S6, 2014-2016 Audi SQ5, and 2015+ Volkswagen Golf R. It is also compatible with other vehicles utilizing a similar exhaust valve actuator style, with the exception of Dodge models. For vehicles with dual exhaust setups, two simulators will be required. The GrimmSpeed Exhaust Valve Simulator aims to resolve issues where aftermarket exhausts or actuator removal lead to drive mode limitations and fault codes, offering a straightforward and effective solution for a more engaging exhaust sound.
