The MeisterR Sportive2 coilovers are a height-adjustable sport suspension system engineered for the Mazda Miata MX-5 NA (1989-2005) and NB (1999-2005) models. Featuring front springs rated at 6kg/mm and rear springs at 5kg/mm, the Sportive2 utilizes fixed-damping twin-tube dampers. The initial ride height setting is approximately 12.2 inches at the front and 12.6 inches at the rear. The adjustable range allows for fine-tuning between 12.0 to 14.0 inches at the front and 12.6 to 14.5 inches at the rear. The damper valving was developed in-house to complement the spring rates, offering a ride that is described as supple and compliant, providing better control than OEM but with less responsiveness than mono-tube dampers. These coilovers are presented as an "OEM+" option, suitable for sporty street performance rather than dedicated track use. The Sportive2 suspension comes with pre-assembled aluminum top mounts, including extended rear top mounts, for ease of installation. The damper bodies are electroplated for enhanced corrosion resistance. The package includes bump stops, rubber dust covers, and a 1-year warranty. It is important to note that while these coilovers offer a wide range of adjustment, some users have reported that the spare wheel may not fit after installation due to the top mount design.
