The Eibach Sportline lowering springs are a performance upgrade for the VW Golf R MK8 CD1, offering a sportier appearance and enhanced handling characteristics. These springs are crafted from Steel Alloy FD SiCr and feature progressive suspension characteristics, providing a balance between comfort and performance. They are engineered and tested to work perfectly with the stock dampers, simplifying installation. The Sportline springs provide a significant lowering of the vehicle's ride height, with an approximate drop of 25mm at the front and 15mm at the rear. It is important to note that these measurements are approximate and based on non-sport models; if your vehicle is a sport model (e.g., M-sport), the actual lowering amount may be reduced. The maximum permissible axle weights for this application are 1110 KG for the front and 930 KG for the rear.
