The Mugen Sports Exhaust System, part number 18000-XK2-K0S0, is engineered with a distinctive Twin Loop design for the Honda Civic Type R EP3 (2001-2005, NA, K20A, I4). This innovative system directs exhaust gases through the muffler twice, a process that effectively reduces noise levels without compromising performance. The piping measures between 54mm and 60.5mm, with a tail exit tip of 85.4mm. It is JASMA compliant, ensuring it meets regulatory standards for emissions and noise. This Mugen exhaust system is specifically designed to fit the 2001-2005 Honda Civic Type R EP3 with the K20A naturally aspirated I4 engine. It is also noted to bolt onto any USDM Civic Si from 2002-2005.
