Sports Series Downpipe

The Evolution Racewerks Sports Series 4" High Flow Catted Downpipe is constructed from 100% stainless steel with 100% TIG welded joints for superior quality and durability. It features mandrel-bent 4" piping for smooth exhaust flow transitioning into the exhaust system. This downpipe incorporates a 200-cell high-flow metallic catalytic converter, designed to significantly reduce exhaust flow restrictions and increase horsepower and torque. Key features include a precision CNC machined turbocharger V-Band flange and a ball joint flange with a straight flow interior for optimal exhaust gas movement. A stainless steel flex section is included to allow for proper exhaust system movement and flexibility, similar to factory designs. Installation benefits include faster turbo spool-up times and improved throttle response, with an average horsepower gain of 9-11 whp and torque gains of 15 wtq (stock boost) up to over 20 wtq with a software upgrade. The downpipe is available in mirror polish or brush finish, with an optional high-temperature black thermal coating to reduce underhood temperatures and improve corrosion resistance. Optional EGT and additional O2 sensor bungs can be added for monitoring gauges. This product is intended for OFF ROAD COMPETITION USE ONLY and is not legal for use on pollution-controlled vehicles on public roads. It is for sale in all 49 states excluding California, and a Vehicle Compliance Waiver must be signed. It is NOT for sale, installation, or use on licensed vehicles in California. Fitment includes BMW X1 (2016-2023), X2 (2016-2023), 2 Series Gran Coupe (2020-2023), and Mini Cooper S, Clubman, Cabrio, and Countryman (2016-2023), all equipped with the B46/B48 engine.
