Sports Series High Flow Catted Downpipe

The Evolution Racewerks Sports Series High Flow Catted Downpipe addresses restrictive factory exhaust bottlenecks in the N20 four-cylinder turbo engine. By utilizing a 200-cell metallic catalytic converter rather than the restrictive 400-cell factory ceramic unit, this downpipe significantly reduces backpressure, resulting in a higher torque curve and faster turbocharger spool times. Built in the USA from 100% 304-grade stainless steel, the unit features 4-inch mandrel-bent piping and precision CNC-machined V-band flanges. Unlike rigid aftermarket alternatives, this design incorporates a stainless steel flex section to prevent stress cracks on the exhaust manifold and turbocharger caused by thermal expansion or ground impact. It is compatible with both factory and aftermarket exhaust systems. Fitment is specific to 2012+ BMW 320i, 328i, 420i, and 428i models equipped with the N20 engine; it does NOT fit the N26 engine. This product is intended for off-road competition use only and is not legal for pollution-controlled vehicles on public highways.
