The PRW Sportsman Series flexplate provides a high-strength, SFI 29.1 certified solution for engines requiring reliable power transmission. Designed for 5.7L and 6.1L Mod Hemi engines with an 8-bolt crankshaft and 131-tooth ring gear, this flexplate features a centerplate that is 0.035 inches thicker than stock to provide a robust foundation under extreme load. The precision-welded ring gear is constructed from forged one-piece steel, ensuring the structural integrity necessary for high-horsepower applications. This flexplate is finished with a gold irradiate coating to resist rust and corrosion. It is compatible with A580/W5A580 transmissions and utilizes a balanced, internal design to maintain engine harmonic stability. The unit is designed for direct bolt-on installation and is specifically configured for converters using 8 x 11.125-inch or 4 x 12-inch Mopar bolt patterns. Please verify transmission and converter compatibility before installation to ensure proper fitment for your specific setup.
