The H&R sport springs (part number 28983-1) are specifically engineered for the Ford Focus Mk2 RS Type DA3-RS, including the 2.5 RS and 2.5 RS 500 models from 2009-2011. These springs are crafted from hardened and tempered spring steel, featuring surface protection through zinc phosphating and powder coating for enhanced durability and a premium appearance. These springs are designed to lower the vehicle's center of gravity by approximately 30mm on both the front and rear axles. The upgrade provides improved handling characteristics, reduced body roll, and a sportier aesthetic without compromising ride comfort. Engineered, manufactured, and tested in Germany, H&R springs are known for their quality and performance. They come with ABE or TUV approval, ensuring compliance and safety. The technology used for developing these street-oriented components is derived from H&R's extensive experience in motorsport, including touring car, GT, and Formula 1 racing.
