Sprung Oil Dipstick with Welded Hook

The STM Sprung Oil Dipstick solves the common issue of the factory dipstick popping out of its tube, which can spray oil and create a significant fire hazard in 1990-1999 DSM engines. To resolve this, STM utilizes a brand-new OEM oil dipstick tube and welds on a dedicated hook to securely hold the dipstick in place using a spring retention system. The assembly is then finished in a durable satin black paint. This component is designed for 1990-1999 DSM platforms and is compatible with both 6-bolt and 7-bolt motor configurations. It is available in two versions: a standard unit or a model equipped with a -6AN bung, which is intended for users performing oil catch can installations.
