The EBC Brakes SRC11 Street Racer Clutch Plate Set is engineered for enhanced performance and durability, making it suitable for heavier sport bikes, aggressive riding styles, and production-based race applications. Each SRC11 kit is precisely measured to ensure the perfect stack height for optimal clutch engagement. For proper installation, the clutch plates should be soaked in the manufacturer-recommended drive case oil for several hours before fitting. It is crucial to never use automatic transmission fluid in this system. EBC Brakes strongly recommends professional installation by a trained mechanic. Additionally, it is advisable to install new clutch springs alongside the new clutch plates, as old springs can be susceptible to heat fatigue. This clutch plate set is designed for a specific range of Kawasaki motorcycles, including various KZ550, ZX550, EN450, ZL600, EX500, ZX600, EN500, and ZR550 models from 1980 to 2009. Before riding, ensure you are accustomed to the new lever feel and can easily disengage the clutch. An experienced rider should test the motorcycle before it is returned to full service.
