The Sachs Race Stage 3 clutch kit is a reinforced, organic clutch assembly engineered for the Volkswagen Golf 6 GTD 2.0 TDI 170. This kit is compatible with LUK dual-mass flywheels and is designed to handle a transmittable torque of 540+ Nm, significantly exceeding the capacity of the original equipment. This Sachs Performance kit includes a reinforced clutch mechanism and a reinforced clutch disc. The materials used are selected for their enhanced thermal resistance and superior torque-handling capabilities, ensuring durability under demanding conditions. These components are direct replacements for the original parts, maintaining the same dimensions and tolerances. However, the reinforced mechanisms feature an increased pressure plate load and strengthened damper springs for improved performance and longevity.
