The MA Performance SS Recirculated O2 Eliminator Downpipe is engineered to enhance the exhaust flow and performance of your 2003-2006 Mitsubishi Evo 8/9. Its full 3" mandrel-bent tubing design significantly reduces exhaust restrictions, optimizing flow for increased power. The integrated flex section adds to the longevity by reducing stress from engine movement. This component is proudly made in the USA and includes all necessary gaskets, hardware, and spacers to ensure a proper fit, even clearing the factory crossmember. This O2 eliminator downpipe has been shown to add up to 16 wheel horsepower on a stock Evo 8/9 turbo with a stock air intake and factory boost levels. These gains were measured on a vehicle that already had an upgraded cat-back exhaust and a test pipe replacing the factory catalytic converter. Further modifications or increased boost levels are expected to yield even greater performance increases. An optional advanced ceramic coating is available in black to help control heat soak and protect surrounding components, though it may require a specific curing process to prevent flaking.
