The Kryptonite SS Series Centerlink Upgrade Kit is a direct bolt-on component designed to replace the factory centerlink in 1988-1999 K Series trucks and SUVs. This kit enhances steering feel and durability for towing, street driving, drag racing, or sled pulling. It is made from 1144 stress-proof carbon steel with 115,000 psi tensile strength and 100,000 psi yield strength. The finish is zinc-plated with black powdercoat for corrosion resistance.

The Kryptonite SS Series Centerlink Upgrade Kit offers a significant improvement for 1988-1999 K Series truck and SUV owners seeking enhanced steering feel and durability. This kit is designed as a direct bolt-on replacement for the factory centerlink, integrating seamlessly with Kryptonite outer tie rods and factory-style pitman/idler arms. It includes upgraded inner tie rods to facilitate this integration. Constructed from high-strength 1144 stress-proof carbon steel, this centerlink boasts impressive mechanical properties, including 115,000 psi tensile strength and 100,000 psi yield strength, surpassing typical chromoly alternatives. The components are precision-machined for tight tolerances and finished with a zinc plating and black powdercoat for robust corrosion resistance, ensuring longevity even under demanding conditions. This upgrade is optimized for both street and strip use, maintaining the factory turning radius and helping to prevent premature tire wear. It is NOT compatible with trucks equipped with a control arm drop lift or a centerlink drop lift. The kit includes one Kryptonite SS Series Solid Centerlink (Part# KRP1088). Kryptonite offers a No Fine Print Lifetime Warranty on its steering and suspension components, covering manufacturer defects, premature wear, or breakage for the original purchaser.
