The Five8 Industries SS Sport Coil-Over Kit is engineered to upgrade the handling and drivability of the 1979-1993 Ford Mustang Foxbody. This kit enables a lower vehicle stance while delivering substantial improvements in chassis stability, cornering response, and reduced body roll, making it suitable for both street and performance driving. Constructed with a seamless 52mm electroplated carbon steel shock body for enhanced corrosion resistance and precision-engineered CNC-machined 6061 aluminum pistons and floating pistons, this coilover system ensures durability. It utilizes SAE9254 cold-wound performance springs and durable polyurethane oil seals, paired with a 7.5W compounded suspension fluid for consistent damping. Key features include full-length ride height adjustment, a mono-tube damper design, and specific piston rod sizes (20mm for MacPherson, 14mm for non-MacPherson suspensions). Installation is designed as a direct replacement for factory suspension components, requiring moderate mechanical skill but no drilling. The full-length ride height adjustment feature allows for easy customization of the vehicle's stance without complex modifications. The kit includes two shocks, two struts, and two springs. The front spring rate is 8K and the rear spring rate is 5K.
