SS Sport Coilovers

The FIVE8 SS Sport Coilovers are engineered for enthusiasts looking to enhance the performance and aesthetics of their street-driven vehicles. These kits aim to provide a lower ride height, sharper handling, and a more comfortable ride experience. The construction features a seamless 52mm electroplated carbon steel shock body and a unique 44mm high-flow CNC 6061 aluminum piston. The damper design is mono-tube with pre-set, fixed dampening, utilizing a unique low-gas pressure design and 7.5w compounded suspension fluid. Springs are SAE9254 cold-wound, paired with multi-thickness valving shims. The coilovers offer full-length ride height adjustment and feature top mounts. Key specifications include spring rates of 10K Front and 6K Rear. The piston rod diameter varies depending on suspension type: O.D. 20mm for MacPherson suspension and O.D. 14mm for non-MacPherson suspension. A unique thinned CNC 6061 aluminum floating piston and polyurethane oil seal are also incorporated. These FIVE8 SS coilovers are specifically designed for the Honda Civic EK models from 1996 to 2000, including Coupe, Sedan, and Hatchback body styles. Each kit comes with a 1-year warranty, and FIVE8 will handle rebuilds and revalving at their US facility.
