SS1 380HP Turbocharger Upgrade

The HyperGear Turbochargers high flow service is designed to upgrade the performance of your Hyundai Sonata or Veloster equipped with a 1.6 DOHC-TCI/GDI engine. This comprehensive service transforms your existing turbocharger by incorporating a ball bearing core for improved durability and responsiveness, alongside an upsized billet compressor wheel and an upsized turbine wheel to enhance airflow and power potential. The service also includes specialized machining of both the compressor and turbine housings to optimize airflow characteristics. Customers can choose from available profiles, such as the SS1 380HP, which specifies a 54mm compressor wheel and a 48mm turbine wheel. An optional T51R upgrade offers further performance enhancements. To utilize this service, you must send your factory turbocharger, which can be damaged (e.g., blown, broken fins, or damaged wheels). If the turbocharger's housings are cracked, repairs may be necessary before profiling can commence. Any required repair work will be communicated with a separate quote before proceeding. The typical turnaround time for this high flow service is between 3 to 6 weeks. All serviced turbochargers come with a 12-month unlimited kilometer warranty, however, this warranty is void if the failure is due to installation errors, oil starvation, operational faults, or object damage.
