The Baer Brakes SS4+ Deep Stage 2.0 Rear Brake Kit provides a high-performance braking solution for 2015-2023 Ford Mustangs (excluding GT350 models). This system is engineered for both drag strip performance and street drivability, offering enhanced stopping power in a compact package designed to fit 15-inch and larger wheels. The kit includes 12-inch x 1.10-inch vented and slotted rotors, which are mounted to anodized black 6061 T-6 billet aluminum hats using high-grade U281 fine thread stainless hardware with captured nuts. It utilizes the popular DR1/HB100 brake pad compound, optimized for drag racing applications, though these pads may produce more dust and noise. The clear-finished S4 calipers house four pistons, providing robust clamping force. Designed specifically for heavy and fast cars, this rear brake system ensures reliability on the street while offering superior performance at the track. It is compatible with most beadlock wheels and comes with all necessary mounting hardware. Baer emphasizes the use of proper banjo fittings, avoiding any pipe thread fittings in their systems.
