Show original supplier description

The Baer Brakes 11 Inch SS4+ Front Brake Kit offers a significant upgrade for classic Mustang and other Ford/Mercury models equipped with OE drum or disc brake spindles. This performance-oriented system features a robust 4-piston S4 caliper, meticulously CNC machined from US-sourced forged or billet aluminum and finished with a durable powder coat. The caliper utilizes D.O.T compliant dust and weather seals and accommodates popular DR1 or HB100 brake pads. The kit includes a 2-piece, 11-inch vented rotor with a slotted, drilled, and zinc-plated surface for enhanced performance and corrosion resistance. The rotor thickness is 1.020 inches, and it is pre-assembled with high-grade stainless hardware. The billet aluminum hubs are pre-assembled with premium bearings packed in Redline synthetic grease and are finished with billet dust caps. The system is completed with steel braided, DOT-approved brake hoses, all necessary mounting brackets, and hardware. This kit is designed to fit 1965-69 Ford Mustangs (w/Drum), 1967 Ford Mustangs (w/Disc), 1962-69 Ford Fairlanes, 1963-69 Ford Falcons, 1969 Ford Torinos, 1967-69 Mercury Cougars (w/Drum), 1967 Mercury Cougars (w/Disc), 1966-69 Mercury Comets, and 1969 Mercury Cyclones. It requires OE Ford spindles for installation. Baer Brakes emphasizes that due to the variety of aftermarket wheels, fitment into specific wheel styles cannot be guaranteed, and recommends using the provided template to verify wheel clearance. The minimum recommended wheel diameter for this kit is 15 inches.
