The Diode Dynamics SS5 CrossLink LED light bar is among the brightest on the market, largely due to its TIR (Total Internal Reflection) optics. TIR technology collects all light from the LED and redirects it precisely where needed, reducing glare and significantly improving total light output.

This light bar is available in two models to suit various budgets. The Sport series utilizes nine Luxeon Z ES high-intensity LEDs, providing 40 watts of total power. The Pro series, however, features nine Cree XP-L HI high-intensity LEDs, offering over double the power at 90 watts.

Equipped with CrossLink technology, it allows up to eight SS5 light bars to be linked together using a single CNC aluminum link. This design provides extreme rigidity and is fully adjustable for both straight and curved configurations. Custom inset threaded mounts come standard, eliminating the need for special linking versions.

Users can choose between two beam patterns: combo and driving. The driving beam is ideal for general lighting at speed, while the combo beam integrates both driving and flood beam patterns. Another notable feature is the selectable backlight with a white lens, offering eight different colors (blue, red, teal, amber, green, purple, yellow, and white) with a flick of a switch. If a yellow lens is used, the backlight will only be amber. The light bar includes all necessary components for installation.
