Overview

The Safari V-Spec Snorkel (ARB SS792HFGD / SS792HFVD) is a high-performance air intake system designed for the demanding conditions encountered by Toyota LandCruiser 70 Series owners. It is constructed from a UV-stable polyethylene body, complemented by high-grade stainless steel and plated hardware for exceptional corrosion resistance. All connection ducting is custom-designed and manufactured from EPDM moulded rubber, rated to a continuous operating temperature of 130°C. This snorkel is specifically engineered to meet the substantial airflow requirements of modern Toyota LandCruiser 70 Series vehicles equipped with both 2.8L 4-cylinder (1GD-FTV) and 4.5L Diesel engines. The design ensures optimal engine performance by delivering a continuous supply of cool, clean air. Its iconic water-separating Air Ram head efficiently removes water and dust particles from the incoming airstream, safeguarding the engine during water crossings and in dusty environments. Manufactured in Australia to stringent standards, the V-Spec snorkel features substantial wall thickness for immense physical strength, making it highly resilient to the rigors of off-road driving. It also reduces dust intake during convoy driving and is compatible with optional 7" or 10" pre-cleaners on some models. The high-flow air ducting system is designed to provide airflow in excess of engine requirements.
