It helps to shield your intake manifold from hot oil splash, maintaining a cooler intake charge for more power. This baffle also prevents excess oil from entering your valve covers and assists in maintaining oil pressure during potential pushrod or rocker arm failures by keeping lifters in their bores. Mounting hardware is not included, and no drilling is required for installation.
