Description

The GM Performance 29540479 is an OEM GM, AC Delco, and Allison Neutral Start Back Up Switch. It is a common replacement part for the Allison transmission, addressing failure symptoms such as a no-start condition, inaccurate gear shift indicator, transmission stuck in limp mode, or pressure switch DTCs. The switch mounts externally on the transmission housing and detects the shift selector shaft's position, transmitting this information to the TCM for vehicle control coordination.
