ST-246 Series Twin-Disc Clutch Kit

The Tilton 69-402UG-57 is a ST-246 line twin-disc clutch kit engineered by Tilton, drawing upon nearly 50 years of racing clutch experience for the high-performance street market. Unlike conventional performance clutches, the ST-246 series is designed from the ground up as a true twin-disc system, moving beyond OEM-type stamped steel pressure plates. This particular model, 69-402UG-57, features organic clutch discs with sprung hubs, making it suitable for street applications. This clutch kit utilizes an aluminum clutch cover that incorporates technology from Tilton's championship-winning OT- Series racing clutches. To reduce noise, the ST-246 clutches are equipped with heavy-duty straps that securely attach the pressure plate and floater plate. The clutch has a 1" diameter shaft with 24 splines and a 2-plate configuration.
