ST XA Coilover Kit

The ST Suspensions ST XA coilover kit offers a significant upgrade for drivers seeking enhanced performance and adjustability. Developed by KW Automotive, these coilovers utilize advanced damping technology to allow for precise tuning of suspension stiffness, catering to both sporty driving and comfortable cruising. The rebound damping can be adjusted in 18 distinct clicks, enabling drivers to fine-tune track stability and body roll. This adjustment is conveniently located on the upper end of the piston rod for quick changes. Installation involves adjusting the ride height using the continuously threaded strut housing on the galvanized struts, which can be done even after installation. The kit features galvanized coilover struts with additional coating for corrosion protection, ensuring longevity. Each strut is also sealed multiple times, and the system includes adjustable spring perches, multi-coated spring systems, and dynamic elastomer bump stops with dust protection. The coilovers are built on a twin-tube damping principle with low-friction components and pressure-resistant housings, manufactured directly at KW. For vehicles equipped with electronic damping control, the system must be deactivated; a deactivation kit (KW Part-no. 68510342) is available separately. The kit offers a lowering range of approximately 0.6" - 1.8" for the front axle and 0.8" - 2.0" for the rear axle. The exact lowering amount can vary based on the vehicle's original suspension construction.
