The StopTech Stainless Steel Braided Brake Line Kit (ACS.44Z.1172) improves pedal feel and response by preventing the expansion common with rubber lines, ensuring consistent brake pressure and precise modulation, especially during threshold braking. This kit is particularly beneficial for older vehicles where factory lines may have degraded. It features a PTFE (Teflon) inner line for optimal expansion and degradation resistance, reinforced with a durable stainless steel woven braid. A clear PVC cover protects against chafing and wear. All end fittings are strengthened with strain relief devices, and each line is 100% in-house tested to 4,500 PSI. The kit is DOT compliant, meets or exceeds FMVSS 106, and adheres to applicable international/EU standards. It includes all necessary brackets and fasteners for a complete installation. Note: Torque banjo bolts to 12-14 ft-lbs.
