Pagid RST Red brake pads are formulated for iron discs with StopTech C43 or ST43 calipers with a wide annulus pad area. This is the Wide Annulus pad shape with a wider (taller) pad - 51mm vs 43mm. The RST3 compound is a semi-metallic resin bonded material containing steel fibers. This compound has medium-high friction levels with a progressive torque that tapers at extreme temperatures. Initial bite is high and modulation is good. This is a common rear pad compound when combined with an RST1 front pad and you need the higher temperature range than the RST2 compound. Common applications include rally, stock car, or GT racing with lots of aero or where high temps are an issue.
