Description

The Paragon Performance Rotor Ring offers superior braking and cooling efficiency for track and race applications. It features directional ventilation vanes for improved heat dissipation and cracking resistance. Made from CM-250 high-carbon alloy cast iron, it provides optimal bite, thermal characteristics, high-temperature strength, and durability. The rotor rings are heat-treated to relieve stress, turned by CBN surface machining for better break-in with new pads, and balanced to within 2 grams with a lateral run-out of 0.03mm. The floating 2-piece design allows thermal expansion and self-centers with pads. Slotted rotors enhance braking consistency by maintaining a clean contact surface, dissipating heat and gases, and preventing water films in wet conditions. These rotors are lighter than most OE rotors while maintaining thermal capacity, improving handling by reducing unsprung mass.
