The StopTech / PowerSlot replacement premium iron rotors feature Vac-U-Slots to evacuate gasses, dust, shed heat, and keep the brake pad surface clean. They also help push water off the braking surface in wet conditions. For some applications, Power Alloy metallurgy and directional cooling vanes enhance high-temperature performance. The rotors have a durable black e-coat on the hat, edges, and internal vanes for corrosion prevention, with bare iron braking surfaces for improved pad bed-in. Optional cryogenic treatment is available to improve performance and service life by redistributing residual stress and offering protection against warping.
