StopTech Premium Iron Rotors are designed as replacement brake rotors for Mitsubishi Evolution V-IX models equipped with Brembo calipers. These rotors feature Vac-U-Slots to improve braking performance by evacuating gas and dust, shedding heat, and maintaining clean brake pad surfaces. They also aid in water displacement in wet conditions. Some rotors incorporate Power Alloy metallurgy and directional cooling vanes. A durable black e-coat finish is applied to the hat, edges, and internal vanes to prevent corrosion, while the braking surfaces are left as bare iron to ensure optimal pad bed-in. Cryogenic treatment is an optional upgrade that redistributes residual stress, preventing warping and extending the performance and service life of the rotors.
