StopTech Sport pads are high-performance street brake pads for enthusiast drivers, designed for fast road use, autocross, or light track days. They require heat for optimal performance, offering excellent stopping power, high fade resistance, strong initial bite, and smooth actuation, modulation, and release at operating temperatures. They produce low-to-moderate dust, are gentle on rotors, and have very good pad wear rates. Engineered for higher temperature ranges than OEM pads. While suitable for weekend fun cars, daily commuting may result in increased noise and wear if optimum temperatures are not consistently achieved. For daily driving, StopTech Street, Hawk Ceramic, Hawk HPS 5.0, or OEM pads are recommended.
