StopTech Big Brake Kits are engineered for BMW vehicles, employing a "Balanced Brake Upgrade" philosophy. This involves precise calibration to the specific BMW model's hydraulic system, master cylinder size, weight transfer during braking, and tire contact patch to optimize braking torque distribution. The kits feature high-rigidity calipers (available in 2, 4, or 6 pistons and various colors), patented Aerorotors for enhanced cooling (slotted or cross-drilled, with optional zinc coating), Sport brake pads (with other compounds available), model-specific stainless steel brake lines, and hardcoat anodized 6061-T6 billet aluminum mounting brackets. StopTech also offers lighter Trophy Sport and track-focused C43 CBK kits, each with distinct features regarding caliper weight, rotor size, and dust seal presence.
