It features a laser-cut aluminum shroud to direct airflow through the radiator core efficiently. The kit includes a pair of Spal fans, chosen for their ability to move large volumes of air through heat exchangers like intercoolers and A/C condensers.

The Flyin Miata Stage 1 airflow kit is engineered to enhance the cooling performance of your NB Miata, particularly for models with upright radiators. The shroud also incorporates bypass flaps for high-speed efficiency and threaded inserts for easier installation, with included spacers for proper standoff. At the heart of the system are two Spal fans, selected for their robust airflow (rated at 1200 CFM at 0.5 inH2O) and their capacity to move air through multiple heat exchangers, such as an intercooler and A/C condenser. They deliver significant torque, ensuring effective cooling even for high-power Miatas. This airflow kit is compatible with 1999-2005 Miatas, including the 2004-2005 Mazdaspeed Miata (MSM). It is intended for non-crossflow radiators only; a separate kit is available for crossflow radiators. Owners of automatic transmission models should note that stock-style radiators will require the transmission cooler fittings to be removed for shroud clearance, and some modification to the shroud may be necessary to accommodate these fittings. The kit comes with a 3-year warranty.
