The Flyin' Miata Stage 1 airflow kit is an aluminum shroud engineered to enhance the cooling performance of your Miata, particularly when paired with their crossflow radiator. It is mounted with sufficient standoff from the radiator to promote airflow across the entire core. The shroud also features bypass flaps for high-speed airflow and threaded inserts for easier installation, complete with spacers for proper core standoff. Included are a pair of Spal fans, selected for their robust airflow even under pressure, making them suitable for cooling high-power Miatas with additional heat exchangers like intercoolers and A/C condensers. These fans offer significant airflow (approximately 1200 CFM at 0.5 inH2O) and are low-profile enough to clear most intercooler piping, providing an excellent cooling solution. If your Miata originally came with a single fan (indicating no factory A/C), some wiring modifications may be necessary. The kit carries a 3-year warranty.
